    OL Resources

Top Rookie Tools - Team Hub

  • Sunday Meeting Time Overview (You can adjust for your org’s drive time.)

    • 8:30 AM - (or earlier) OL, COO & CFO arrive and get ready for meeting.

    • 8:59 AM - Everyone else has arrived

    • 9:10 AM - Optional Spiritual Time Out

    • 9:40 AM - SL Meeting (while FYs fill out PC sheet and/or watch a video)

    • 10:15 AM - Recognition followed by Org Meeting

    • 11:45 PM - Lunch & PCs

    • 1:00 PM - Close & Head Home!

  • Make sure everything is prepped for SL and FY meetings.

Invest YOUR time in SLs or FYs you can help crank. (see notes below to help struggling SLs; quick PCs with them Sunday )

PC with low producing SLs (or FYs or everyone 😊):

    • Focus on doing your best—not being perfect. Work at your full potential, like a front-page FY. If needed, reset your goal—getting on Sizzler is still a huge win.

    • Get out of the mental fog by focusing on others. When you're truly present in a sit-down, you stop thinking about yourself—and that's when you're at your best.

    • Recommit to the basics. Make sure you're (and your SLs are):Facebooking, Working in 2-hour goal periods, Practicing strong self-talk, Knowing school districts

Stat calls: it’s OK to do stat calls just MWF this week and next. But, stats still need to be entered daily. You’re the CEO.

Supplies person needs to order enough kids samples that everyone can get a new clean one next Sunday to start the Leadership Phase

As people arrive: Pass out Cardstock for everyone in the org to write positive traits or what they appreciate about each person. Save to read in the close.

During SL mtg, FYs can watch a video; Alum Josh Heuchen is great; they can start it 5 minutes in to get 30 minutes. Or Matt Atchison’s video from week 6 of the Summer Series in the MRC—it’s 45 min. long.  Always have them share the biggest takeaways in the org mtg.

Who is being considered for the leadership team? - See Leadership Selection Resources

    • Set up the Future: if you have 1-2 FYs who are super stable, disciplined, positive, consistently producing…go ahead and interview them for the 2025 leadership team. Sets the bar high for our Leadership Team.  Also (especially if you don’t have any FYs who are SL candidates yet), pull aside your best 2-3 candidates 1-on-1 and encourage them to EARN a spot on the Leadership Team over the next few weeks by leading themselves well. Start recommitting your experienced SLs you want for next year or ask to also EARN it.

  • FYs can watch mentioned video above in OL Meeting notes.

    Recognize/thank each SL for something

Optional: SLs pair up and give each other a PC (can use the questions on the PC sheet, too)

    Advanced sales of your choosing

Ideas to help FYs now. New Sizzler contest gives new hope/focus!!! Today’s PC.

Do Breakfast Coaching CONVERSATION with roommates every morning. - found in top rookie tools

  • Google Doc Version - You can make a copy and edit for your org & add speakers!

Be HERE to be THERE—NEW SIZZLER CONTEST

Serve families with the system & LEAD

    Recognition, Good News, & Execs!

    Org appreciation

    •  Personal recognition again with FYs/SLs. Celebrate your contest winners from the previous week. Recognize great roommates, BIG SATURDAYS, logs/LEAD, who’s on track for Superstar award.  LOTS of recognition and thanks.

      • Client Reviews

      • Start the LEAD fairy (first LEAD customer gets a bracelet) - or something fun to encourage LEAD sales

      • Have FYs share the biggest takeaways from whatever they watched while SLs were meeting.

      • Have team members write a positive trait about each person on individual name cards. At the meeting close, read a few aloud and return the cards to their owners. It’s a powerful way to build connection and give everyone a boost of encouragement they can take with them for the week.

    “Be HERE” (notes below)

    • Ever catch yourself wishing you were somewhere else—back home, hanging with friends, sitting in air conditioning, watching Netflix? It’s easy to let your mind drift and envy what others are doing. But this is a trap a lot of people fall into their whole lives: always waiting for the next thing… “Can’t wait to graduate... get married... have kids... retire.” And they miss right now.

    • This summer is just 12 weeks. That’s it. Then you’re back in Texas, or Georgia, or wherever—and after a few days of sleeping in and chilling, you’ll miss this. You’ll realize: you can’t go back and re-do this time.

    • That’s the 40-12 Rule: give your best for 12 weeks and it opens up 40+ weeks of options, confidence, and freedom. Every day you push through, you're investing in the kind of life most people only talk about.

    • Yes, it’s hard work. But anything meaningful is. The people who stay present—who choose to be here and give their best—are the ones who win big later.

Can have a couple people share how they “Be here”

The Be HERE basics checklist: Go around the room and have each person read through each point out loud. Rate yourself, pick a couple to improve and consistently do this week.

Serving families with the system & LEAD. (It’s like shopping for clothes–give them the chance to buy the whole outfit!)

    •  Serve middle school & HS families with LEAD, too!!

    • How: Have everyone watch the 7 min. Selling LEAD from Jack Wheeler; he was #1 in the world with LEAD in 2023.

    • SHOW IT!!  Goal is to show it every time you have a MS/HS family.

    Healthy Bookpeople = Strong Summer

Your energy is your engine—and this summer is a marathon, not a sprint.

    • Hydration matters: Start early. Water now keeps you going later.

    • Food is fuel: Pack your own lunch. Don’t rely on Mrs. Jones—her food is a bonus, not your plan.

    • Sleep smart: Cut stat calls to MWF so you can work hard and rest well. Be in bed early, especially Sundays.

    • Take your vitamins: A good multivitamin helps with long days.

    • Mental health counts: Positive self-talk and quiet reflection help you stay focused and present.

Take care of yourself so you can bring your best to families all summer long.

Promote Sizzler, “Be HERE so you can be THERE”

    • Show service project video.Play latin music, have everyone get up and dance…huge build-up to unveil the NEW WAY TO EARN SIZZLER! EVERYONE can make Sizzler!!!! Don’t worry about units— go for sits, demos, logs, and families served focus. Sizzler will happen. Sizzler Flyer! & Thermometer Tracker

Lunch: PCs & remind everyone to call their yellows - Bounced Payments & Handing Yellows in ROS

    Close

    • Recognize anyone invited onto next year’s Leadership Team, it’s a year-long commitment to growth. Have them share why they’re thankful to be on the Leadership Team 2026. Take picture and share with DSL + Sales Support

    • Read aloud each person’s  Org appreciation - you can have the person to the left read the other person’s card or their own.

    • Promote Breakfast Coaching

    • Promotions: Is it 4th of July Week?, Mom’s Week, Pie in the eye?, Tournament of Champions, etc. A great leader is a great promoter!

OL Leadership Reminder: Build for the Future

    • Always be preparing next year’s Leadership Team—start now.

    • Read the OL notes before doing interviews, even if you’re a veteran. Stay sharp.

    • Have FYs complete the questionnaire before meeting—it helps them process and reflect.

    • Celebrate and promote anyone invited back—leadership starts today.

    • Identify and solidify key SLs for next year

    • Train future OLs now—include them in interviews so they’re invested and learning.

    • Use your org stats and weekly reports to spot trends, growth areas, and coaching needs.
