  7. Description: Hi! I’m [name]. This summer, I’ll be selling educational resources for high schoolers to toddlers in the Midwest and the East Coast.


2) PHOTO ALBUMS

  1. Create the following albums: Meet the Education [Man/Girl]!

    • Description: [insert your own brief introduction]Upload photos that help your followers and page visitors know more about you– include pictures of you traveling, with family/friends, at university, etc.

  4. Share the Advantage Service Project

    • Description: Every summer, Southwestern Advantage holds a service week where student reps are given the opportunity to voluntarily donate a portion of their personal sales toward a service project. In the past, we’ve raised thousands of dollars towards building new schools, libraries, and more in various underdeveloped communities.

3) BEING A PROFESSIONAL

  • Don’t forget to customize your page handle:

    3. Invite your friends to like your Facebook Business Page:

      1. View your page

      2. Select the other options button

      3. Select ‘Invite Friends’

      4. Select ‘Select All’

      5. Select ‘Send Invites’

  • Create a pinned thread where you introduce yourself and show your credentials:

    1. Keep it short and sweet

    2. Let page visitors know to check the comments

    3. Be sure to pin the post

    4. Ex. “Thanks for the warm welcome Marlborough! I’m excited to meet everyone & see how I can help with your student’s education. Check the comments for my permit and other credentials!”Upload a clear headshot or photo of yourself for your page

  • Upload a page header

    1. You can use the page header (seen below) provided in the FB Business Page Google Drive folder

4) THE SECRET SAUCE

  • When you check in with your local police department, have them share your page! It’ll help the community know who you are before you even arrive at their front door.

  • Every time you help a family, take a photo with them and immediately post it on your FB Business Page. Ask Mrs. Jones to pull up Facebook on her phone, help her find your page and like it, then share the post onto her personal page!
